Come and join the Guides of the Noosa Botanic Gardens on a walk through the Gardens to enjoy all the garden has to offer and hear some interesting stories.

See the Hong Kong Rose, Rhodoleia championii, a welcome sight in the cold winter months.  It’s crimson flower heads hanging down in amongst the leaves. While many trees in the Gardens are not at their best, one is just starting on the journey to producing Australia’s gift to the world – the Macadamia Nut. Hear the story of John Macadam after whom the Macadamia is named.

Meet at the shade shelter shed nearest the first carpark.

The walk will go for approximately one hour.

Sturdy shoes, sun-cream, water and a camera are all you need to join us.  Dogs on leashes are welcome.
