Protect your family, property and animals by learning how to identify fire ants in your area.  This is a dedicated fire ant surveillance training session and will provide you with valuable insights including:

1. Observing live fire ants up close and learning about their behaviour and characteristics.
2. Understanding why fire ants are dangerous and how to identify their nests.
3. Participating in a hands-on activity to search for nests in an open area.

Workshop will be facilitated by representatives of the National Fire Ant Eradication Program and will be held in the large shelter shed near the entrance carpark at the Noosa Botanic Gardens.
