Botanical Printing Workshop hosted by Margaret Moon & Sammy Ciganka (Sunshine Coast Natural Dyers Interest Group).
Bring a friend and come to the Noosa Botanic Gardens for an introduction to the art of Botanical Printing. At 9.00 am we start to build a bundle of plant materials folded into paper and fabric. Your bundles will ‘cook’ between 10 – 11 am when you return for the magic moments of revealing your prints. Materials provided. Additional materials available for a small charge. Music in the Poinciana grove. Back by popular demand, singer/songwriting maestro Jay Bishoff and Andrew Higgins with his keyboard antics will lay down a musically eclectic show for you.
Bring a chair or rug and settle in for some lovely tunes. After the morning fun’s over, stick around and visit the Shade Garden, or bring a picnic and commandeer one of the many tables dotted through the gardens and round the lake.
Yes, you can bring your dog, but strictly only on a leash.
